Course Description

TQUK LEVEL 3 accredited Course 

This course (theory and practice) offers you the opportunity to develop and critically evaluate skills, knowledge, and behaviour required to work with adults in a wide range of care environments including residential, assisted living, home care, primary care and acute health. The course covers essential concepts in modern care, including the duty of care, safeguarding and protection, strategies for promoting well-being and techniques for individual needs, this course will prepare you for a wide range of roles in health or social care. The course is suitable for care workers and senior care workers who want to develop or consolidate additional proficiencies in health and social

Course length  

6 – 12 Months Days of theory and practice.  (flexible study days) followed by a month to achieve clinical competencies.  


100% person online course with options for Live Instructor-led units that afford live engagement with lecturer practitioners. 

Course assessments 

You will be assessed via: Reflective Patchwork, Essays & Practical Observation. You will be assessed through a combination of observations, case studies, witness statements, written questions, and discussions.  

Learners must achieve over 58 credits and 399 guided learning hours.   

Entry requirements 

You must be working or planning to work in health and social care. There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level two in literacy and numeracy or equivalent. 

The recommended minimum age for this qualification is 16 years and above.

The TQUK Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF) is regulated by Ofqual.
